This is a bit overdue, but thanks again to Erik, Bruce and others for helping make the BBQ happen for the August meeting. It was the perfect night, the food was great and we had about 20 of us attend. Till next time!

Pancake Breakfast – Fundraising Results!
As most of you already know, our chapter teamed up with 617 to put on the breakfast during the recent Bend Airport Day. The event turned out great and we held the breakfast in the Red Hangar. Our two clubs served approximately 295 people a nice breakfast which included eggs, pancakes, bisquits, sausage and drinks. At times all tables were full which was approximately 75 seats. The fundraising was a big success for our club and we earned $210 for EAA 1345.
On behalf of EAA 1345, I wanted to thank all those who helped make the breakfast event a success. A big thank you also to Dave Waltman and Chapter 617. Their group did the lions share of the work, purchased the food and supplied the equipment. It was very generous of them to include us in the event and we hope to participate again in the future. Thanks again!

Enjoyable Meeting Tonight
It was a great night to be at the airport. We had a nice relaxed meeting and Peter Loeffler gave a great talk on aerobatics and aerobatic competion. Thanks Peter!
For all those who attended, it was great to see you again. For those who couldn’t make it, we hope to see you at the August meeting which will be our annual BBQ. The BBQ will start at 6pm. Mike Bond will be sending out an RSVP email to help us purchase the right amount of food. So, sign up and bring a friend or spouse and come enjoy a nice summer night at the airport.

July Meeting Presentation
There have been some changes to the July meeting. Dick Tobiason will no longer be giving a presentation on the WWII Memorial. Instead, Peter Loeffler will give a talk on aerobatic flying and the Aresti diagrams. At the meeting, Peter will also discuss a time for a possible aerobatic demonstration in his Pitts. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting.
